I bought this book because it was the required text for UMUC's GVPT280 (Comparative Politics) I have read a lot of textbooks. This book hands down is the driest textbook I have ever read. I love politics, but if this would have been the first class that I had taken I would have switch majors. UMUC there are better books|About the Author|G. Bingham Powell is Marie C.
